Cedar County Conservation Board has six parks and day-use areas with shelters available to reserve. Cedar Valley and Bennett Parks have two enclosed and one open shelter each; Massillon has one enclosed shelter with furnace and one open shelter; Red Oak and Rochester Parks each have one enclosed shelter. All afore-mentioned parks have water hydrants and pit toilets. Pioneer Park has an enclosed building with air conditioning and furnace and modern restrooms. Please inquire as to which areas are handicapped accessible.
Make Your Reservation
Reservations may be made up to one year in advance. Please call us to confirm the availability of the shelter and date you want to confirm. Then complete the reservation application and return it to the CCCB at 400 Cedar St. Tipton, IA 52772 with a nonrefundable $15 reservation fee within 14 days of your reservation date.
