Environmental Education

The Cedar County Conservation Board's Environmental Education Program is here to help you and your students, group, business, or organization learn more about Iowa's natural resources.

Whether it's a program about a specific topic or a day trip to a park, we are here to help you experience the outdoors and learn more about our natural world! Environmental Education programs are provided throughout the year. Current programs include a Halloween hike, Easter egg hunt, snowshoeing, bank and ice fishing clinics, programs on specific outdoor skills, and much more. If you have other ideas we may be able to with, please contact us!

Youth and adult groups can work with the CCCB naturalist to schedule conservation-related programs. Field trips and programs can be arranged upon request by calling the office at 563-886-6930 or by emailing the naturalist: naturalist@cedarcounty.iowa.gov.
