Office Coordinator

Cedar County Emergency Management Commission is accepting applications for the position of Office Coordinator.


This position provides clerical support and assistance in the areas of administration, operations, and related areas for the Cedar County Emergency Management Agency and the Cedar County Joint 911 Service Board. The ideal candidate will be able to perform clerical tasks with a high degree of speed and accuracy, keep accurate records and prepare reports, perform receptionist tasks, administer agency social media educational campaigns, assign 911 addresses and other duties as assigned. Candidate should have strong computer skills, organizational skills and be able to work under stressful situations. High school graduate (or equivalent) and two years of administrative experience required; or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform required duties. Valid driver’s license, insurability under Cedar County Emergency Management Agency’s liability coverage, drug screen and pre-employment physical required.
