Board of Health Meeting

Cedar County Recorder's Office

The Cedar County Recorder’s Office will be open from 8:30am - 11:30am on Saturday November 16th :

• Drop off your DD214. (They will be recorded on the next business day during normal business hours, in the order that we receive them in.)
• Pick up copies of your recorded DD214. (Photo ID required)

• Accept new Passport Applications or assist with Passport renewals. (Appointments are not required for this day and wait times cannot be guaranteed.  Passport applications during regular business hours, require an appointment.)
• DNR License sales (Hunting/Fishing/Deer Licenses etc.)
• Renew or register ATV/ORV/ORM/Snowmobiles (current registrations expire Dec. 31st, 2024)
• Renew or register Boats (current registrations do not expire until April 30th, 2025 – renewals do not begin until Jan. 1st, 2025)
• Iowa Vital Record Certified copies and photocopies (Birth, Death, and Marriage)
• Apply for an Iowa Marriage License.

• Drop off your Real Estate documents to be recorded. (They will be recorded on the next business day during normal business hours, in the order that we receive them in.)

• Pick up copies of your Real Estate documents.

If you are unable to make it in the office on this day or during normal business hours, please call the office at 563-886-2230.  Some of our services, we can assist with over the phone, or we can help you with requests/registrations by mail.
